About Dr. Kristen Marchman.png

Hi, friend! I’m Kristin.

When I’m not in yoga pants and surrounded by my 3 cuties who call me “Mama,” I’m Dr. Marchman in my office, Essential Wellness Chiropractic and Massage.

I was born in California and raised in Ohio surrounded by cornfields, which explains my adoration for farms and Ohio State football. I moved to Georgia after college to attend chiropractic school which was a leap of faith because I would be 10 hours from home knowing absolutely no one... but God had me covered.

I met the love of my life, Tyler, while in school (I’ll have to share that story in a blog post sometime). We got married, settled here in Georgia, and three homebirth babies later (now 9, 6, and 4), here we are. My family is my world.⠀

I’ve been a chiropractor for 12 years. Migraine headaches led me to chiropractic and I knew if it had changed my life like it did, I wanted to do the same for others. I started at a sports practice, moved to a family practice, and then took over that office 3 years ago. I had always said I didn’t want my own office until my kids were all in school, but God had other plans. I renovated my office, completely rebranded, and couldn’t be happier with how things are.

I work at my office 5 half days a week and get to be with my kiddos the rest of the time. People told me that would never work, but I’m proof that it can. I live by the idea of making my work revolve around my life, not my life around my work. Although I truly believe I have the best job in the world.

I started using essential oils 7 years ago and fell in love. I couldn’t keep my mouth shut about them and now lead a team of oily families called Drops of Health. If you’re like I was and think this oils thing is just hocus pocus, stick around. I promise it’s not. I believe every home needs oils and I would love to share with you how they’ve changed my life.

I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease 2 years ago and it’s been an unexpected journey, but I know I’ll come out stronger on the other side. I refuse to let it own who I am.

A few fun facts about me:

1. I was nicknamed the “Chocolate Princess” as a child and even as an adult, I’m pretty sure I could eat chocolate for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and never grow tired of it. I won’t, but I could.

2. I showed sheep in 4-H from 3rd grade to my senior year of high school and it was a huge part of my life. I wish there were sheep shows near me in Georgia because I would be there with bells on.

3. Speaking of bells, I am obsessed with all things Christmas and am continually counting down the days until the most wonderful day of the year (63 as I type this). You’ll find me wearing a different Christmas t-shirt every day in December and I never get tired of Christmas music (my alarm on my phone is “Jingle Bells,” if that tells you anything).

4. I entered college as a theater major. I love the stage (I was in show choir, plays, and musicals throughout high school and college) and my dream is to one day play the Wicked Witch in a community theater production of “The Wizard of Oz.” I’ve got the laugh down already.

I’ve learned so much since chiropractic school and I’m incredibly passionate about natural health and wellness. I have an entrepreneurial spirit and 910% believe God intended for me to combine all of my passions and use them to share what I’ve learned with others. I strive to help families create happier, healthier homes. That’s what this page is for and…

I’m so happy you’re here with me.
